You can clean almost anything in your home with baking soda or vinegar.

Baking Soda: Use it to scour sinks, tubs, etc. If you need something a little more abrasive, mix in some coarse salt.

Vinegar:

Multipurpose Spray. Dilute 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water and put in a spray bottle. This mixture is especially great on windows, mirrors and metal fixtures. I also use it on the surfaces of my refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher.

Floor Cleaner. I use this same ratio, using hot water, to mop my kitchen and bathroom floors.

Disinfectant. Pour a cup of vinegar into your toilet bowl, let soak 20 minutes, then scrub.

Odor remover. To remove kitchen cooking smells, boil a small pan of vinegar. Yes, it smells like vinegar at first, but the vinegar smell will fade away and take the other smells with it.

Microfiber Cleaning Cloths:  Another great cleaning product–dry, they make great dust cloths; and damp, they are great for removing smudged dirt, grease, and stains.

Using these available, inexpensive products will keep your home sparkling clean and free of noxious fumes which will benefit your health and that of those you live with.
